At Balsa, Nubis vision was to reimagine a modest 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home and evolve it into a true desert estate that harmonizes with the spirit of Joshua Tree. Today, Balsa stands as a sanctuary where modern amenities meet wide-open tranquility, thanks to its close proximity to natural landscapes, as well as inviting recreational opportunities. This transformation not only captures the naturally inspired essence of Joshua Tree, but also unlocks the property’s full potential for living, hosting, and investment.
Main House Expansion
Reimagining the original 1,400-square-foot home into a 3,051-square-foot sanctuary. The new design includes four master bedrooms with private bathrooms, plus a powder room balancing comfort, privacy, and luxury for modern living purposes.
Outdoor Oasis
To celebrate desert living, Nubis created a vibrant outdoor escape complete with a custom pool, outdoor shower, and bar area, providing a seamless blend of relaxation and entertainment against the backdrop of Joshua Tree’s natural beauty.
Additional Living Space
Nubis introduced a brand-new Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), designed to offer flexibility whether as a guesthouse, creative studio, or rental opportunity.
